Have to disagree with Bones.
Canyons lift system is a joke. Some good skiing if you hike, but takes a while to get to.
Deer Valley stashes stay untracked longer.

Bones, ok so far as a warm up. Spring skiing at the moment with the freeze line well above the resort. This is our family holiday so I have to behave. But lured them onto some steeper stuff today. Looking forward to Alta.

Deer Valley.
The Canyons are bland. DV has a reputation for excellent grooming, but also has some seriously good terrain that isn't skied by the average DV patron (= upmarket punter). - They don't like powder much, either

Well the powder arrived so we hot footed it to Alta.
But this thread has been very useful. I'll put snowbasin on the to-do list. If it carries on snowing we may just stay in Alta and snowbird and not even make it to Brighton or Solitude.
