Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A quick question to anyone who's been to P.T. this season....

Imagine that you're on the main road through the village and you've just turned up the lane towards the main lift pass office. Is there still a ski hire shop in the building on the left hand side, behind the little car park? We hired from there last year and they were excellent but can't seem to find a trace of them on the internet at the moment. (It doesn't help that I can't remember the name).

If they have closed down can anyone recommend another option? I tried "Noleggio by Maestri" once several years back but wasn't too impressed.

I was in PT in January but do not recall seeing a ski hire shop where you described

We hired our equipment from the depot next to the Hotel Vittoria (go down the steps). Not sure of the name but they had a good selection of equipment
