www.last-minute-ski-deals.co.uk specialise in (insert their name here) and are really great. Ski companies will usually offer discounts on last minute deals. booking 1-2weeks b4 departure. Then I always find its best to go the resort website as larger companies that can offer discounts usually advertise there.
Also resortnet.com websites are good, valdinet.com verbinet.com etc, as these give info from seasonaires and are great for info and deals.
hope u find the powder

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Eastern Europe is usually a good bet, Poiana Brasov and Borovets were the top 2 of the Post Office value ski resorts survey http://bit.ly/sioNW. Or if you want France specifically Les Sybelles ski area costs only 177euros for 6 days and you get 310km of pistes - more stats like that here http://bit.ly/o0CZl

boardatwork, we used Snowbrainer http://www.snowbrainer.com/uk/ recently in St Gervais. MUCH cheaper than the online company we have used to pre-book in the the past few years, good UK-based service prior to going, decent equipment, and we paid in sterling so avoiding any conversion surprises. They had been recommended on here too, for good service in sorting out a problem in the ski shop, from the UK.
