garmisch is good i have just been its very nice , also near by is austria - i really like ahrwald , i didnt get the chance to go to seefeld but i have heard that is beautifull!

Me and some friends drove from Munich to Mayrhofen in mid-March last year for 4 days of skiing. It was excellent!

Anton is around that sort of distance, so is SkiWelt and Kitzbuhel. You mentioned Soll - if you want to go to the SkiWelt, Westendorf is much nicer with better skiing.

Zillertal (Hochfuegen, Hochzillertal, Zell am Ziller) is about 1.5 hours drive from Munich. I was there mid-March 2009 and the snow was fine.
Garmisch Classic is OK, but very busy with day-trippers from Munich on Saturdays and Sundays, and although you can also ski nearby Ehrwald and Lermoos, they don't connect up.
