Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

On Sunday went up to the Col de Grand St Bernard for a hike with Logan and his Mum

The Lake behind the Monastery is stunning...

Looking down from above. The Monastery on the left

Nothing gets in the way of this fella and his lunch

Mont Blanc in the background

Someone needs a kip

Up again

The Lacs de Fenetres

Monte Bianco

A few bits were a bit hairy with a Baby Bjorn!

Back down safely

Battle of the dribblers

Beautiful area and the hike up to Pointe de Drone, over to Lac des Fenetres and back to the Monastery is superb

Excellent photos, I've heard that SSB might not open this season due to lack of money. Anything on the local grapevine about this?

Nice photos Bob - cool to see it in the summer.

Super St Bernard is one of my favorite 'little' ski areas in the alps.
Its like a mini la Grave. A real hidden gem, especially the 10km off piste run from CH into IT.

Sadly though it might not open next year. The old tele-cabin has been declared unsafe by the authority's.
And they need to raise 1 million CHF by Sept 15th to remain open Crying or Very sad
My fingers are seriously crossed for them.

Posted some links / photos on TGR.

Haggis_Trap, skinned up to the monastery a couple of years ago as Haute Route practice. It's a bit of a trek to go skiing there for the day although I've heard the run down into Italy is a cracker. Everyones a winner if Verbier buys it and adds it to the validity of the season pass!

BobinCH, Fab photos Very Happy I recommend an Ergo baby carrier, you will both be more comfortable than with the Baby Bjorn now he's getting bigger and it will last you for ages as it works on front, side and back, and it's a soft easy thing not a big framed device (I went through a fair few carriers until I got an Ergo)
