Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Lake Louise

I returned from my first experience of Canada on 31st Jan and to be honest I enjoyed the skiing! However I think that for a long flight together with the lack of apres ski (mind you who wants to pay £4.50+ for a pint) an extremely high price for lift tickets ,high prices for ski hire it will be a while before I will venture across the water again. Met some great people though Canadians are very friendly and polite, Andy the biker from Banbury who should by now be a member!. Full of Aussies in fact 90% of Liftys were Aussies or Kiwis, loads of boarders not that they bother me too much. One big plus though I must say was it was very quiet during the week in fact so quiet you could be the only one on a run Smile

Personally I prefer staying in LL self, but then I'm lucky because I go to ski rather than drink. Wink

arv, Have got much the same photos you are right LL is a very small village!! No choice for restaurants The Outpost was about the best but the Pizzeria in lake louise inn was good value. Was a bit icy on Friday but overall we found the skiing very interesting loads of moguls which my son found lots of fun. Would have stayed in Banff but 90 or 50 mins a day in transfers is not for me Alexandra, I love to ski all my days from the moment the lifts open to last one up but I am partial to my apres ski and LL has very little even the Kohkanee bar on the slopes was closed for two days but as I say I did enjoy it overall Smile
