Poster: A snowHead

Hello,
I have a Garmin Nuvi 255 that I use for my car. I know you can load piste maps onto these, but I was just wondering whether anyone has tried it and if so was it any good?
Thanks

FiFi_Trixibell, Do a google search for Snowranger, they sell lots of piste maps for Garmin GPS. I just don't know whether it is worth it!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Just had a look - seem like a cool idea but bit expensive! Piste maps are free! (Albeit occasionally crap!)

FiFi_Trixibell, I agree, I don't really see the point, but I was hoping someone might enlighten me as to why they are such a great idea.
Has anyone used an ordinary Satnav to show distance and top speed? I'm sure it could do that at the very least.
