Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

So the minimum's had a lot of fun on their new twin tips last week - they jet along so fast that its difficult to organise to get straightforward skiing shots of them, but here are some shots of them having fun on their new skis which you might enjoy.

I will try to get more of Minimum_2 doing the twizzles on the snow, he was very good at them, but when I tried to film him he wasn't really on a steep enough section

pam w, dont think about what you're doing. I find that the minute I concentrate on doing one, I get a face full of snow...

Megamum, I'm sure i've seen elsewhere, but do you mind me asking how old the minimums are and how long they have been skiing?

My boy is 4 this year, second trip, so hoping he makes good progress. Boy 2 is still 1 and a half thou. So be a few years before we are riding round the mountain together... but, and not wishing to wish my life away, I can't wait till we can all ride together like you guys are able to !

Megamum, Obviously the minimums were having fun with the jumps in the snowpark Madeye-Smiley , pity about the terrible (c)rap music the locals like to play there though! Toofy Grin

Richie_S, The Minimums are 10 and 7, they have been skiing since the eldest was about 4, and have had regular half day for a week ski school each year - mostly 1 week a year. They are now competant over most of the mountain (which is more than I am rolling eyes ). However, it is fun to all be out there - the most difficult thing is keeping everyone together in a group - I usually play tail end Charlie and mostly end up with them waiting for me, but sometimes on a flat Schuss I have to work hard to stay behind them as my err.. greater mass Embarassed can carry me along faster than my youngest. Very low vis. adds its own complications, but it can all be worked out - hope you have as much fun when yours are older.

Was in a telecabine with the missus, a friend and a French father and daughter over Christmas.

The kid was oh so cute and desperate to sit on the seat but kept falling off, through a good load of Frenglish we, got chatting and discovered that at 3 & 1/2 years old it was her second season on ski's Shocked We saw them later on in the day as we wizzed by and she was making easy work of snowplough
