If you were looking to get away for easter, namely on 27.3.10,and had the choice of either Geneva,Grenoble or Chambrey to fly to,which would you go to to have the best access to the best resorts at that time of year?Looking to go somewhere that has a relatively good snow record at that time of year..Which resort would you choose and why?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

barthez1980, I always try my best to avoid Chambery now, as every single time I've been there the flight has been delayed or cancelled.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

barthez1980, all of them provide access to a wide range of resorts, and although Chambery is an hour and a bit closer to resorts in the Tarentaise and Trois Vallees, for example, is that difference in transfer time such a big deal? I'd go with the cheapest option which provides access to skiing with some high altitude cover just in case it's unseasonably warm at that time of year.

Grenoble for Les Dueux Alpes or Alpe D'Huez - two high resorts with glaciers. I'd opt for LDA - since the south-facing slopes of ADH might be getting a bit slushy by then.
