Does anybody know any good English Speaking ski instructors in Solden suitable for an intermediate male skier with distinctly average technique but lots of bottle? Much appreciated if anyone can give me contact details.... thanks

SnowGod, you won't find any better than Inside Out Skiing. I was with them for a week in Soelden in December on this trip. I thoroughly recommend them.

I'll fourth that!
But if you are unable to arrange to go on one of the Inside Out Courses, I'll whole heartedly recommend the Skischule Sölden http://www.skischule-soelden.com/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=41&Itemid=64
If my memory serves my correct the guys at Hemel have a good connection with the ski school and some of the Austrian instructors came over to the UK in the summer. I had lessons with two different instructors from the school at Easter (I think it was Werner and Peter? Arnold) who between them had almost 100 years of skiing experience. Werner coached his daughter to the heights of the Austrian ski team.
Ask the Hemel guys if you want a second opinion, but I was impressed with the level of instruction I received at Easter and their knowledge of English was good.....and way better than my German!

hi folks..... thanks for the tips... had forgotten I'd made the post as it was for a guy in our party!!! We arrive on Sunday 31st Jan and ski from Sunday 1st Feb for 4 days. He was looking for a couple of 2 hour privates on the Monday and Tuesday so I'll pass this useful info on to him and let him sort something out for himself...... thanks again!
