Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

got a late deal to Belle Plagne next week.
never been before so a little advice please.

is it better to book ski's in advance via t'nternet or wait till in resort.
ski pass same question.

3G / internet ok as may need to buy a 3g dongle there

Hi we go next week as well, taking some freinds for the 1st time. Its a lot cheaper to rent skis before you go. I have only been checking prices for basic skis but these guys were the cheapest:

If you join Decathlon (free on website) you get another 5% off as well.

Ski pass is easy to buy in the resort, there are 2 offices and at this time of year, no queues.

Not sure about 3G, it wasnt great last time I was there (2 years ago)

Am there next week myself and have booked skis through Sn*wbrainer,their prices seem as good if not better than many of the others.They seem to use 3 outlets in resort.The pass I will arrange when I get there.

it was a last minute thing so wasnt sure what to do.
been trying to get to aviemore for days but weather so bad cant get to ski center so resorted to france..

should be good fun, hope you guys have as good a time as i hope i do
