Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Munich Internation - moving between terminals

We have a group of people flying into T1 Munich, and someone else who may be flying into T2

What's the easiest way for the T2 person to get to T1 - is it walkable, how long will in take ?

As far as I remember, the terminals are connected with the Hire Car companies in between. About 3 - 4 minutes walk.

The 3 terminals are in a big U. It takes me about 15 mins to walk all the way around at a fast pace (why are connecting flights there always at the furthest apart gates you can get???)

madmole, There are as yet only TWO terminals at Munich although there is talk of a third as well as another landing/take-off runway which has people from the surrounding areas up in arms. (German NIMBYs exist see! wink )

The best place to meet up is in one of the bars/restaurants in the central area (Level 03) or the beer garden (it's not outside) in the Plaza between the two terminals, depending on how long you have to wait between the two arrivals.
