Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Pas de la Casa - 7-14th March... And I'm bringing a single girl!

Hi guys,

Only my 3rd ever Ski trip but I'm definitely getting the bug now! Off to Pas on 7th March (just me and a friend) and we always like a good time and the more the merrier so if anyone is out there (or wants to be!) then we booked 7 nights half board with Neilson at the Himalai for £449.. Bargain...

And yes, my friend is a single female... she's very much looking forward to the 10:1 male:female ratio in "Mandorra"!

I've twice been to Pas. Once with my sister and her husband on a very budget coach trip when the snow was perfect. And once a couple of years later with some uni mates, same week, when the snow was rubbish.

On both occasions, my accommodation (not the Himalaia) was terrible but cheap. Grandvalira is a great ski area for intermediates and for me that was the best feature. Pas itself is a large, dirty, noisy, border town. Lots of cheap shops and bars, some complete tat, but some pretty good. No idea about the male/female ratio, the bars all seemed pretty mixed to me and there were certainly no opportunities to 'pull', but maybe I'm not the same kind of single gal as your friend! Smile

You should have a great time. Enjoy!
