Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Eating on the cheap in Corvara and surrounds

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi! We are taking our first ever ski holiday at half term in Corvara (2 adults, 2 teenagers). Am literally haemorraging money for this trip (buying clothing, ski lessons etc etc etc for four of us). Anyway we are staying in a hotel that is bed and breakfast only. I was wondering if anyone knows if there are some reasonable places to eat in the evening either in Corvara or anywhere nearby? (We will have a hire car) Thanks! Madeye-Smiley

My pal stayed in Corvara on a walking holiday a few years back and said Villa Caterina Pizza Bar was very good and cheap .

Can't help...the only time I ate out in the evening was at a Michelin star restaurant for my 50th birthday. Great place to learn to ski

The Pizzeria Fornella is a good choice if you're on a budget, as are pretty much all of the pizzerias.

Other, less obvious, places to try are:

The Bar Ristorante Al Lago, just 20 yards from the Abruse slope by the ski school.
The Pizzeria Bar Ristorante Pizzeria Stadio, in the Ice Rink Stadium. It's much nicer inside than it looks from the entrance.

Couple of others to add to your list: Adlerkeller next to Hotel Italia. And Taverna posta zirm. Maybe also look at the restaurant at hotel la tambra. At half term I would definitely try to reserve tables. Most of these restaurants get very busy even in low season.
