Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just thought I would move my question here.

Anybody know how much it costs to use the Edlinger locker facility at the Gondola, if you own or rent your skis elsewhere ?

hey mate. i was there last year. cant remember exactly but i know its not much at all. like a 10er or 15 euros i think(for the whole week) trust me well worth it. its a long walk at the end of the hard days skiing. depending where you are in soll itll be a 10-30 min walk with ski's and boots. at the gondola you have a key card to get through the turnstile underneath into the locker. i was a bit shocked thinking we would all have a locker, but its just a big room, when we were there it got very full.

soll/ski welt is amazing by the way. we had powder on the piste every day for a week, knee deep in places, lifts are amazing no ques. we found the best skiing over in westendorf which is now fully linked.

Hi Bernie, I asked the same question a few weeks ago. The ski garage is €14 for the week. The link below is to their website and the ski garage rates are shown under the specials section. I hope you have a good time, this year will be my 5th trip to Soll and I just can't get enough of the place. I still haven't managed to ski the whole area yet. I hope you have a great time.

You know I looked at their ski hire rates for my wife and completely missed that section. Puzzled
