Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Morzine / Les Gets / Avoriaz advanced ski buddy (30th Jan - 6th Feb)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Yet another season on its way and another ski holiday already booked. However, given that my wife and I ski at totally different levels, we always end up skiing alone which has its benefits but to be honest there is nothing quite like going skiing with someone else or a group of similar level skiers. My wife tends to go to ski school where she usually hooks up with someone in her ski class to ski with after ski lessons.

So, if anyone is going to be in Morzine / Les Gets / Avoriaz between the 30th Jan - 6th Feb and is looking for someone to ski with then please get in touch. I generally try to spend most of my time off-piste searching out powder fields if the weather/snow permits. However, I am also happy skiing groomers. Ideally, I would like to hook up with a fellow skier who has knowledge of interpretting snowpack and is familiar with avalanche safety and has all the necessary avalanche safety equipment.

Hi All,

If its of interest to any of you we offer ski holidays exclusively for single travellers and operate out of Chamonix and Morzine. This guarantees that you will be with others to ski with each day and a large group to socialise with in the evening.....

Please view our website for further information www.coldfusionchalets.co.uk

Kind Regards,
Steve

Steve, want to calm down on the spamming mate? You've only just joined, how about contributing to the community rather than just pimping for business? You seem to have resurrected every "single skiier" thread in the last few months

Hi nbt & Kel,

Apologies for the spamming...just thought the people that I was contacting were looking for just what we offer..... Most of them have come back to me and have been grateful for the link.

We do cater exclusively for individual travellers and accommodate our guests in twin bedrooms based on two people sharing. Room share is based on Gender and age range. No Single supplements.

Anyway enough from me.... if anyone is interested please get in contact.

sorry again.....

Regards,
Steve

To avoid any confusion, I will be travelling with my wife who also ski's but just not at the same level as me which is why I am on the lookout for a ski buddy.

Hornster, consider skiing with the ski-club - http://www.skiclub.co.uk/skiclub/skiresorts/resortrepinfo.aspx?intContactID=44602

usually on the sunday they do a bit of an orientation day, and then during the week have different types of groups - a blue run cruise for one day (good for skiing with the Mrs) and then some harder skiing on other days including off-piste with the gear, and generally the reps are very good. I've not skied with them in Avoriaz, but have in les arcs a few times..

Anyone else going to be out in Morzine / Les gets / Avoriaz over the above dates who is perhaps also looking for someone, or a group, to ski off-piste with?
