Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi my fellow SH's
I have been offered a place on a trip going to Madonna Di Camp. on the 26th March 2017. Deal is great and the hotel looks splendid. I also really like the look of the resort. Only worry is what the snow will be like that late in the season. I've checked the historical snow reports and the depths don't look too bad at that time of year looking back over the previous four seasons. I realise that season to season varies a lot but overall it would appear that this resort does seem to get some reasonable snow depths. I know the snow will be hard in the morning and getting slushy later in the day so this does not worry me - what I want to try and avoid is skiing brown snow as the mud starts to come through !!
Does anyone have any experience of skiing this resort around the end of March? Be grateful for any first hand reports / input from the SH's before I sign on the dotted line.
Kind regards to all
Griggs

Any thoughts?
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, I'v been there in 2nd week in March before and experienced some of the best conditions in 28 weeks of skiing.
There are a couple of locals who post here quite regularly, but I guess they may well be running their businesses/out skiing
Perhaps this "bounce" might garner some more insight if one or other checks in.
I like the area - great skiing, especially if you like piste skiing (they manage the pistes really well), good mountain stops, not massively expensive (Madonna itself can be - its a fairly chic Italian town) and easy to navigate about, yet good sense of travel.

There's a chap on the forum; @campiglio knows the resort well, maybe PM him, if he doesn't see the post. Thoroughly decent chap.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

We're looking at going there the previous week. Looks a great place.
Got a good deal - just wondered what current snow conditions are before I book though.
