Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hinterglemm Restaurants

Can anyone recommend any cheap and cheerful restaurants in Hinterglemm?

Specifically the kind of place suitable to take younger kids for an early evening meal rather than the kind of place that's good for a lively night out.

Also does anyone know of any take aways (for example pizza) in that neck of the woods?

Has a very nice restaurant, and (I'm fairly certain) a pizza take away too. The Spag Carbonara is excellent. Right in the centre of town. ENJOY!

It's the only one we've tried. We stayed in Saalbach in Summer, it's a nice stroll up - big meal - stroll back. There are plenty of other restaurants, but I can't comment on 'em - soz!

That one is fine... Other Italian is fine also... Didn't have a bad meal all week when I was there last year... and never ate at the same place twice....

Most places are apres ski dancing from 3-6pm then they clean up and become restraunts...
