Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey im arriving in Bourg on the 21.55 altibus and need to get to Arc 2000 where the apartment is. I'm pretty sure the funiculaire stops at 9pm? are there still buses or am i going to have to dust off my hitch hiking skills? Any suggestions?

It's a huge sophisticated international resort, so I'd hazard a guess that the Arcs website has timetabling for the transfer buses from the valley to the resort.

still havent found anything which suggests its possible... autocars martin doesnt help and the resorts shuttles will have ended. might mean a night in bourg...? I used to live in Chambery so havent had this trouble before as just drove up. Can anyone help me out with a solution? Cheers all

Talk to people on the bus and see if anyone else is going up the hill and try and blag a lift.
Go to Maccy D's and walk around a bit and ask for a lift up the hill - chances are someone might be going that way.
Go to the roundabout at the bottom of the hill near super U and stick your thumb out.
Grab a cab from near the station.
