Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Tignes Free Ski Guiding (On Piste)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Do any snowHead know of free guiding at Tignes? We're going independent, but I'm thinking of the kind of thing that many of the major TO's offer - showing their clients around the resort for a morning.

On 2 mornings most of the party have lessons, leaving Mrs Sabreboy on her own. Now she can ski happily down blues and will go down reds if she must, but would quite like people to ski with.

I've looked into lessons for her too, but struggling to get something for her level at the right times. Not planning private lessons for her.

So does anyone know if the resort provides someone to show you around for a morning?

Thanks.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

stewart woodward, thanks, you have spurred me on to search a little harder round the ski-schools.

Mrs Sabreboy is a cautious intermediate, happy on blue runs. We were looking for 9-12 to fit in with the rest of us.

Found 5 morning lessons at Evolution 2. They seem to get good press on these forums (as do all the Tignes Ski Schools reported on).

ESF will charge you €144 for 5 days x 3hrs in group lessons or if Mrs Saberboy on fancies 3 days would charge €98. Hope this helps.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Have gone with Evolution 2 for Mrs Sabreboy. Turns out the origional ski school had made an administrative error and could have fitted her in.

Nevermind, all sorted and I'm sure she'll have a fabulous time.
