Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

No single supplements with Rocketski

I've skied with the sister company, Equity, in the past and found them to be fine.

I am a solo skier going to Alpe d'Heux 23 January with Rocketski . Any snowheads there for this date ?

They never seem to have any single availability on line, although they allow you to search for holidays for 1 person, and come up with a list of accommodation, but then when you click through, there are never any rooms available IME.

And I usually tend to do my searching/booking quite late in the evening, so rarely during telephone hours Sad

Like Anniepen, I have travelled with Equity once (to Schladming), before internet booking was generally possible, and found them a really good TO at that time.

there is a button bottom right of their home page which says sole occupance and gives you the dates and prices for singles. you have to ring to check availability just tried all of their 23rd of January dates nothing available Sad

I booked in November . There will be two school parties there and a few other guests , but only one or two solo skiers AFAIK. The price was good and hopefully there will be someone to ski with so it should be fine .
