Probably gonna get some new skis this season and will be riding them tele and will need to find someone to mount the bindings
Not gonna do it myself as I'm too much of a klutz so my options look to be;
(a) find someone in a resort to do it
(b) get someone in the UK like S+R or EB to do it
With the first worried about miscommunication and lack of resource if they screw it up
With S+R and EB know I can tell them what I want and would expect them to treat me properly if they screw up the mount, but would you trust them to have a clue?
Interested in your thoughts...

Only trouble for you is that he's based in Notts, so might be a bit far away for you in London, but definitely worth a visit - he certainly knows his onions (not to mention his helicoils!)

I also need the same help.
I want to swap my tele bindings from my too long/stiff/scary movement freeheels to my nice and messed up/ much softer than when they were new (but too soft to ski fast alpine) short and easy to turn salomon foils.
But as the OP asks- where?
options
a) have a go my self in the garage- armed with a drill, some screws, some araldite, a copy of Paul Parkers book and tell the wife and kids to clear off as this is a swearing job, and be prepared to totally fcuk it up- cost- an afternoon of swearing, possibly a small amount of my own blood shed, possibility of success and vindication, possibility of humiliation and failure, financial cost- a few pence to the value of an old pair of skis.
b) take to EB or S&R in Liverpool / Manchester- where I don't think they do this much. Cost- an afternoon, possibility of swearing at someone else, loss of a small amount of someone else's blood (arrest?) financially about £25.
c) take to Otavalo in Chamonix- but be prepared to accidentally drop between £500-700 on new skis and bindings- but I really don't want to buy new tele skis and bindings, I really want to knit some bindings out of free range organic llama wool- or something- but if I go in the shop with all its shinny things.......7tm power bindings with step in, (about £200) nice G3 skis...hummm

take 'em to eb in cas on a sat or sun and ask for the don. sounds to me you don't trust anyone to mount em and talk like tele bindings are a mystery, why would they screw it up same principles apply, what are they made of f*&%$£g platinum? you have four options, 1.DIY, 2. S+R or EB or n.e.other shop, 3. resort, 4. pack in riding and take up worrying full-time. now, in the words of mr t on a certain advert "get some nuts!".

No but for a popular alpine binding you would expect the shops to have a jig, almost certainly they won't for tele bindings so its a free measure and mount with additional potential for the shop guy to stuff it up because he's not even sure where to mount tele bindings relative to the line(s).
Check the threads including the muppets who've managed to stuff up mounting some bindings into K2 inserts.

nah often it's not a jig your right they come with a template like jesters / dukes alpine bindings did pre jig last year, but making a template is hardly splitting an atom!

I can mount your bindings..... over 15 years tele experience.... been mounting bindings as part of my business www.telemark-skiing.co.uk since 2006.

proper job Higgy, been looking for them for a while now. There's no climbing wire on em but these will primarily be my going down bindings! Well pleased (of course i opened a beer off the heel throw the night they arrived 
I can vouch for Matt/Higgy at telemark-skiing.co.uk also, just bought my aforementioned bombers from him. top man.
Matt, what kind of bits do you use - have you got the proper countersunk, depth-stopped "ski" bits or something more regular?? I've played around with a few different things for depth-stop etc - am always a wee bit anxious about it (but so far so good)!

What are your thoughts on i) ball of foot over centre running length or
ii) Mounting boot centre (pinline-heel) at alpine boot centre mark minus 1-2cm?
For mounting a twin tip (no pin line marked).
My very crap measurement last night suggested the 2 aren't that dissimilar for my intended victim, but that might have been down to a progressive alpine mark.

Glad to hear that everything is sweet!! I have got a selection of PROPER tools for most jobs.. occassionaly have to make do with a home made adaptation BUT fairly rare occurence. If you are truggling to get hold of them let me know what you require (depth and diameter)... although my suppliers aren't always the speediest ).. so you had better not be in a rush!!!

95% of the skis that I mount (for my own stock and clients) are mounted with 3 pin line between 2 - 5cm forward of Chord Centre (very approx. the balance point of the ski)... have never had any issues. give me a ring if you want to discuss it.. alternatively I can guie you through the process for your first pair.. let me know a suitable time to come along to my workshop.

I resolved my tele binding mounting dilema very simply.
Old bindings removed gratis by a very kind assistant at Chill Factore Manchester (email of thanks to his boss- no mention of free bit).
Skis and bindings taken to Chamonix- mounted at Otavalo in about 20mins from walking in shop- fantastic. Jeremy th eteh very quick- and gave my kids stickers- always a hit. Price 15 euros and I didn't buy much else (some leashes).
I'd say that if you need tele bindings mounted do it ina big resort- Zermatt, Chamonix- ideally at a tele specific shop.

ed123. Glad you got it sorted - you picked one of the best tele shops in the alps.
There aren't many tele-specific shops in alpine resorts - all things being equal you're more likely to find one in a bigger resort, but that's only a guideline. I'd always suggest you determine in advane whether there's a suitable shop in resort before you go. Here are the resorts and tele shops (either tele-specific or shops with decent tele knowledge) I know of in the alps:
Chamonix: Otavalo
Argentiere: Sportech
St Anton: Pete's
Andermatt: Alpin (?) Sports
Zermatt: Anorak
I've also found shops with some tele knowledge in Verbier and Alpe d'Huez, but that knowledge was limited to a few binding manufacturers. I'd also be pretty confident I'd find somewhere in Engelberg, but I wouldn't necessarily expect to find a suitable shop in any other resort
