Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Instruction in Tignes - Stewart Woodward

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Just back from Tignes with George VII. We have had a fantastic week. Mixed conditions, flat light and high winds at times but lots of new snow!

On Christmas Day we had a great lesson with fellow snowHead Stewart Woodward. Stewart has really brought on our skiing and I have now got more confidence in my ability. Stewart gave us some great tips and we have enjoyed our skiing more as a result.

He taught us some techniques to improve our skiing on steep slopes which were covered in deep snow. He has also helped to improve George's stance (getting him out of the back seat). We had extremly bad conditions during this lesson with really flat light, high winds and near white out conditions at times. Despite this Stewart kept us flexible and confident to continue skiing when normally we would have just headed for the nearest bar.

We both had huge grins on our faces Laughing Laughing Laughing at the end of the morning lesson and went on to ski until 4pm even though it continued to snow heavily all day. Thank you so much Stewart for really improving our technique and ability and for making skiing feel so much easier and less tiring.

Happy New Year to you and Mrs W from George & Claire

PS Thank you also Mrs W for the great Pizza tip on Christmas Eve! wink
