 's, I have a mate coming out next week who is keen to heliski. I'm aware of some options in Switzerland - Rosablanche, Petit Combin and Pigne d'Arolla - but we have skinned up to 2 of these so doesn't really float my boat. Does anyone have experience of heliskiing around Monterosa? Imagine snow conditions will be good there next week.

would certainly be a nice tick
there is certainly some incredible skiing round there but the question is whether you'd get to do it or find yourself doing relatively flat stuff if you are only there for the day

frank4short, offpisteskiing, a guide told me about Marinelli last year. He reckoned it was a leg burning 2500m vertical descent from top to bottom. Nice 
Alas, said mate doesn't want it to be his final heliskiing experience and the top looks a bit of a no fall zone (please confirm if you know?) so probably not feasible even in the unlikely event it's in condition....

Video seems to confirm that ... "a fall would take you over seracs, and over the cliffs below"

Someone in the area does multi drop stuff for an amazing price. Not sure who, try dropping Francesco a line via TGR.
bobinch, Marinelli isn't really something to be skied by people who get freaked by NFZ.
