Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Christmas on the slopes - Ax Les Thermes / Andorra?

Hi, Does anyone know where to find out the opening times on the slopes in Ax les thermes, Andorra or any slopes around that area over the christmas break (for example christmas eve opening times)?

Dunno about those resorts themselves but pretty much all resorts I've been to in France then both Xmas Eve and Xmas day are just another day on the mountain. The odd restaurant/shop might close a little early on xmas eve but they're keen to maximise revenues from British men doing last minute shopping.
If it's the general lift opening/closing times for the week you want then just google the resort name.

Cheers for this. The resorts round there are more 'real france' as opposed to holiday destinations so i'm not so sure. You have a point though as i can't find any info which suggests business as usual. Here's hoping, We'll just see what happens

, what Bertie said - the lifts and ski school will run just like any other day. The main difference is the abundance of silly hats on Christmas Day. The big family feast meal is on Christmas Eve in those parts, including the hotels.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
