Ok, heading to 1650 a week today (yay!) and am quite keen to get my boots looked at. It's not necessarily that I'm finding any specific problems, just when I had them fitted a few years ago, the bootfitter didn't do everything to make sure they were set up for me totally correctly.
I have custom insoles, but the boots seem to have 101 different adjustments (canting, cuff angle, flex etc. etc.) so therefore the chances of the "standard" setting being correct for me is close to zero. I've been told I have good posture, but that don't think that necessarily means my feet are totally normal.
Any recommendations - either for a quality bootfitter in Courchevel (have a car, so can get to the other Courch resorts) who can take a look at the boots and adjust if necessary, or maybe I should get them done up here before I go. How much could I expect to pay to have them set up the boots?
Loads of questions, but that's what you lot are good at!
PS - meant to say: don't know if this should go in here, the resorts or the equipment forum, but I'm sure Ian et al will move it as appropriate...

If you have a 3-valleys pass. I would really recommend that you go across to Val Thorens to a shop called 'Zenith'. The older chap in there is superb. It is easy to find...near the tourist office.

Am thinking about getting a one-day extension so I can do a bit in Meribel. VT I'd have to do on my own since the others I'm skiing with might not be up to the trek there and back. I do have a car though - perhaps we could drive there early in the morning, ski VT and then drive back after I've got my boots done.
Thanks for the tip - any others for Courchevel/Meribel?

To get a decent service anywhere make sure you make an appointment, explaining what it is you need to have done. If you just turn up (especially if you bought the boots elsewhere) you are much more likely to be dealt with quickly and sent on your way.

I will back up PG. I had my boots fitted last year by fantastic staff at Freeride in Meribel. They also have a Courchevel shop.
