Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone know if there's a swimming pool open to the public in Morzine/Les Gets?

there is a sports centre with ice skating and other stuff, im sure there is 1 in there, There is a big outdoor one which you go directly over when on the super morzine bubble but i think it will be a little too cold in the winter!!! Very Happy

The swimming pool in Morzine is only open in the Summer. There are plans for a new indoor complex but this is only likely to be ready for next season. Les Gets does not have a public swimming complex, unless you are willing to brave the lake Very Happy

Will S, garyscott20, I think there is a small pool possibly in the health spa just along from Le Tyrol restaurant? Have no idea if open to public or not or what it's like, I've just walked past.

The lake in Les Gets is lovely in the summer.

While a fully outdoor one might be, I have swum outdoors in Jasper when the temperature was -25C - but you did enter that pool indoors, then swim outside.

And it isn't uncommon in Austria for the larger Wellness areas to have small outdoor pools which are still in use in the winter.

The pool at my apartment is outdoor, you enter it from inside though.
