Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

alptransfers

Having got our stag weekend sorted out now (see other thread in Resorts forum) I now want to arrange a transfer from Geneva to Chamonix.

www.alptransfers.com seem to offer the best rates - has anybody used these before, if so would you recommend them ? Have tried to contact them but e-mails are retuned as undeliverable, just wondering if they have ceased trading ?

In the meantime will scour the net for other transfer options but any recommendations gladly recieved (already know about ATS and the Geneva ski bus). Have heard good things about ATS but they are a bit more expensive than the alptransfers option.

Thanks.

oh by the way, there are 12 of us so a large minibus would be ideal

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You don't necessarily need private transport. There's a scheduled bus service from Geneva Airport to Chamonix through the day.

Here's a link. Click on the link in the text for a timetable (although you'll need to review this for the winter).

There's also a company called Chamonix Bus mentioned in the text for private charter. I think they're very well established.

You could try Mountain Transfers
They were set up by friends of mine a couple of years back, and you may be able to get them to sort something out.

Managed to get in touch with apltransfers, they're still up and running. Transfer sorted now. Thanks.
