Poster: A snowHead

Looking at a trip to one of the resorts near either Munich/Salzburg - and came across these guys for transfers:
www.holiday-shuttle.at
Has anyone had any experience with them - good, bad or otherwise?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Forgot to mention, that I know the trains can be a good option, but the thought of dragging various bags/ski-bags on and off trains fills me with dread!
Wimp, aren't I!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

rich.ll, thanks. I'll have a look - although as first glance they don't seem to have an English version of the site, and my German is basic, to say the least!

Yes, and they were very good. Salzburg to Saalbach and back, Feb 2008. There were four of us, and we opted for the private transfer, which for about a fiver more each got us our own mini bus. They were bang on time for the return journey.

Cheers guys. Looks like I've got a couple of decent options.
chrisdavis, as a matter of interest what did you think of Saalbach?

Like the skiing a lot - there's a lot of ground you can cover, but end up back where you started..if that makes sense. Some cruisey blues and reds, and a couple of spikey blacks too.
Apres ski is as relaxed or as full-on as you want it to be, and good food - on and off the hill.
We've done 2 of the last 3 summers there too - so probably a bit of a biased view

Yes we used them last yr for a private transfer to Zell am see, they were great, on time friendly and you can book by phone, we spoke to a guy called Rupert who was really helpful and spoke reasonably good English (well miles better than my German!!). I'd recommend them.

Really enjoyed Saalbach four years ago, quite a variety of runs and one really long cruising blue down to Leogang.
Not too many Brits the (late) week we were there, good choice of mountain restaurants and not too expensive. You can ski one side of the valley in the morning before the sun gets too warm and then switch across the valley for the shady part in the afternoon.
By going from side to side of the valley you do indeed do a 'circuit'
We got a train to Zell an See then a local post bus up to Saalbach - real cheapskates, but good to mix with a few locals.
I think it was that lift from Leogang on which the gondalo cars had 'sponsors' names on them of people who had come to the resort for the same week for the last 20 years etc? Weird!
Next thing they'll be having pictures of the happy families and their pets adorning the interior of the gondola?
