We are going back to Flaine in January, this time having booked flight, accomodation and transfers separately.
Can anyone advise if its cheaper to pre book lift pass on the internet (showing @EUR37 per day) or if its the same price out there?
Also - can you rememeber if you need your lift pass for the 'yoghurt pot' lifts and nursery slope? We may not get there til late lafternoon, and this nice green could be a free way to get an hour practise before its dark!

cheapest way is to ask whoever you've booked from if they have a "Herbergement Contract" they should be able to buy it cheaper for you....... iirc the yoghurt pots and nursery slopes are FOC but I coudn't swear to it.....

ClaireM, I've never found it any cheaper on t'internet than in resort. If you still have last years passes take them to be recharged or do it online -saves 3 euros a pop. Last year they also had a 10% discount for famillies, hopefully the same this year.

> "Pack Famille élargie" are available this season for 2adults plus 2 children (Under 18s) or 1 adult plus 3 children (under 18s) not quite 10%.. cost will be €655 versus €720... must be made as a single payment for 6 day passes.
> w/c 19th December, 3rd & 10th April - for every adult one child under 12 is free.
Herbergement rates;
> some weeks 6 days skiing for 4 days cost, some weeks 6 days for 5 days, etc etc etc !!

norris, that's good news. Now wouldn't it be good if they could have some new lifts between Forum & Foret 
I'm pleased my youngest is now well & truly old enough to carry his own skis, that was always a challenge when stepping off the pots.

GM season passes are avalaiable online with this link

for €419 pa for adults €209 for <18.... This works well if you do more than 12 days...if not then there is the Holiski card by CDA http://www.skialacarte.fr/en which povides a ski card which activates on your first run daily providing a turn up and go lift pass charged at the daily rate less 15% or more so no paying for bad weather days etc.
