Just wondering, will I be the only single bod there? Anyone else going on their own? Are you put sitting at a table for dinner or do you invite yourself into another group? Is the atmosphere more like a hotel or a chalet ? Is there much socialising or do people tend to stay in their own groups? Anyone already gone there on their own? how was it ?

Can't help you with that particular chalet, sorry, but I can say that we've always found it pretty easy to socialise on a ski holiday (because, after all, everyone has a big interest in common!) & I bet you'll get chatting to people very easily.
I think Mark Warner offer ski hosting, so that's a great way to meet up with people as well 
And I don't think you'll be made to feel like 'Billy No Mates'  Not a very helpful comment, that, & not very accurate, either, if my experience of skiing holidays is anything to go by...

I've holidayed alone in both chalets and hotels. With chalets you'll just join in with everyone else there. Mealtimes are very sociable and once you get to know people, you'll have some ski buddies to ski with too. Hotels are probably a bit less like this, but whenever I have been alone I've always been invited to join a table with other people.
It's up to you, you can keep yourself to yourself if you want, or you can introduce yourself and join in. You never meet dull people skiing. Strange people yes, but that's all part of the fun!

I been on several Mark Warner hols. Their standard format in their 'chalet hotels' is to allow\try to seat people together at meal times. It's not usually fixed and you can swap around as you require. You can sit alone at meal times if you wish.
They do sometimes offer ski guiding around resorts that can be fun, providing you select the right group. Make certain you get on the list early enough, sometimes they are oversubscribed. This is usually organised at the welcome meeting on the first evening.

I went on my own earlier this year on a Mark Warner holiday to Val D'Isere. No probs in meeting people. In March I'm also going to the Rosanna. Originally I booked on my own but now a friend is joining me for the week. You've nothing to worry about. Take note though that the Rosanna only has 2 days ski guiding. Also on average 75% of people went on their own last time.

Mark Warner only provide 2 days of ski hosting in St Anton because they have to hire local ski instructors to accompany the Ski Hosts. If you want to ski with others team up with other guests early. If you don't know the area try and find others who do know the ropes. The Rosanna is in the centre of town.
There is more skiing in Lech and Zurs on the lift pass and the public buses are cheap. My trick is to get a group of 6/7 and go by taxi which is as cheap and far more convenient than the bus.
I use MW a lot because you just mix with other guests and you'll meet other singles as well as groups.
The apres ski is amazing, it starts on the slopes and you ski down in the dark. There are more bars and apres ski venues to suit most tastes than most other ski resorts.

I've been with MW twice, to Tignes at xmas and to LDA in January. Both were great holidays. They do hosting every day in those resorts, this is very useful, not only to ski with somebody (not too bothered about sking alone, myself) but to meet others to eat & drink with later. They organise tables for dinner so you can sit with who you like (or not!).
I would go with them again this xmas but I am looking for a different resort.
Go for it, you'll enjoy it.

I don't think you'll be alone for long, the Rosanna also has within its walls one of the busiest bars in St Anton, Scotties.
But get involved with the ski hosts, have a few beers with them and I'm sure you'll be made welcome.
After all St Anton is not exactly the piano bar, small sherry and off to bed at 9:30 set!!
