Can anyone recommend decent sunglasses (not goggles) for skiing ? might sound a daft question but would welcome some ideas as my oakleys are nearing the bucket now and if I'm going to spend more money I want to get it right ................ what do you guys recommend ?

Have worn Bloc Stoats for many years. Lost originals but they were so good I bought another set as a replacement, and they now have a range of funky reflective lenses. Not too expensive either.

I used to wear Oakley until they sold out to Luxotica, now it's Adidas.

Oakleys are fine, but overpriced imho. I have bought a pair of Julbo's, no regrets

It may sound like a daft comment but... Find something that fits your face.
I know many happy Oakley wearers but on me they let too much light in.

My vote for Julbo as well - I use a pair that are reactive in the Cat 3 to Cat 4 range, excellent for sun on snow. After sales support good as well - when I snapped an arm in a high speed wipe-out they repaired them free of charge (after 3 years use). Good climbing shops generally stock quite a few models, I got mine from Needlesports in Keswick.
