We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Renry, maybe best to avoid this thread until you watched your recording? I agree that we shouldn't post spoilers in thread titles, but surely no harm inside the relevant thread?

Chemmy certainly attacked that 1st run and got the reward. Considering the times of the girls around her and that biiiiig mistake, she did herself proud. Second run from 15th could be a stormer. Beginning to get nervous here.

Bode Swiller, a good result I thought. The course was getting slower (fresh snow overnight was cutting up I think) and she made a mistake on the delay gate on the steep pitch so got very late, so 15th was a great result. Could be another great opener for her...

Seemed like a slightly more constrained run for Chemmy after going all out in the 1st run. So top 20 overall, and a solid start to the season.

Definitely a reverse of her style from last year. first run this year a blinder coming in 15th from a start number of 26 and nearly half a second up on Maria Riesch. Second run much more restrained, but saying that all the second runs were slower times as the whole course was in the sun. Riesch overtook her and took nearly a second off her, so deffo not the Chemmy from last year. But World Cup points and a solid base to build on. Let's see if Levi is OK for her.

We did try to find a Union flag to wave for the second run but they didn't have any on sale - just an enormous England flag which I refused to buy! Not English and never will be.

Nicki Hosp's fall was a nasty one and she was airlifted down to Innsbruck where she was operated on for a ruptured right ACL this afternoon. That's her season over before it even started which is such a shame after her accident last year at Zagreb.

Couldn't work out which of the hundreds of photographers was Primoz though - he needs a snowHeads Beanie if he wants to stand out Laughing

Terrible shame about Nicki Hosp - first race back, and she was looking really good. That will be operation 5 on that knee I think, so the question is whether she'll come back from this. Sad but not suprising that Hermann Maier and Renate Goetschel have called it quits.

Chemmy did well, good start to the season, let's hope she can build on that.

She definitely looked like she was holding back on the 2nd run, but you can't really blame her. Great to get some points on the board straight away. Pressure off and something positive to build on. Well done to her.

There weren't hundreds of us NehNeh But since I don't want to stand out, I had instead of Snowheads beanie, Finnish team cap... this actually helps when shooting in finish area and during medal ceremony... especially when it comes to Finns, for who we do quite lot of work.
Otherwise here's photo of me during 2nd run of men GS. Smile And some of our photos are here. All in all it was great weekend for me. I had some skiing on Friday, and it was nice to be on hill on Saturday and Sunday, catching up will friends I didn't see much through summer.

Svindal is the coolest of the racers, I go to many FIS races over here in Austria and he is always the one who waits and signs kids helmets - at Solden he was mobbed again. Great party after the racing as always in Solden.
