Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi There
Can anyone tell me the closest ski hire shop to the ESF meeting place in les Gets. Somewhere that would maybe let a couple of people leave their own equipment there as well (there are 8 of us and 2 have their own gear). Can't face walking too far with 4 children!!!!!!!!!!
Many Thanks

Michaud Sports (it's a Ski Set franchise). If you rent there, then they're usually happy to let other people in the group leave skis, boots etc. Plenty of storage space too.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

jo reuben, Twinner do the same deal and are literally 5m from the ESF meeting point.
That sais Michaud sport is about 10 m away.
I can't think or any ski hire shop in the centre or Les Gets which is more than 100m from the pistes meeting point.

jo reuben, Sport 2000 are the very nearest followed by Berthet sports who are more expensive but much better. If you go through Twinner website you will probably get it a bit cheaper though make sure you bring your paperwork with you.
We have used Berthet for several years and always been impressed with the service. Now that we own much of our own kit, we still bring it there for servicing.

Can support the recommendation for Berthet Sports - they were very good when we used them a couple of years ago - you can also leave your skis there at the end of the day to avoid trolling round the village with them
