Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

season pass discount for residents / verbier

Hi all,

I got my season pass 3 yrs ago through the ski shool where I was doing a gap course in Verbier. I seem to remember the cost being around 660 CHF for the full 4 Valleys/Mont Fort area - corresopnding to around 50% discount on the base price. Now, with a residents permit & a property in the region, the best I can find from the lift company is a 20% disount on the local pass only. I guess that the big discount previously was due to a bulk buy from the ski school concerned - wonder if anyone else has experience of this or if I am missing something?

think you need proof you're working in resort to get the 50% off, your gap course probably wangled this if you were shadowing etc.
