Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Stayed there about 4 years ago,it was ok nothing special.surprised to see it is in the finest brochure.
Its proberly about a 5or 600 yard walk downhill into town.
Last time in st anton 3 years ago in its sister hotel lux alpina(which was very nice) was paying between 3.60 and 4.30 euro a pint, but i did read somewhere recently that they were paying 6euro last season
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, calm down for gods sake. There will be snow by the time you go and probably plenty of it. If not shout some abuse at me as I drive by on way back from Kappl on 9th to Memmingem airport.
Beers will typically cost you €3-4 but will cost you €5 in Mooserwirt/Postkellar and all the main apres places. Don't know where you pay €6 a pint though - that's almost French prices
Get in touch with sidneyreilly and he'll point you in right direction for bang up to date prices for beers

Fauner's alright, uphill walk from town to get it but doen't take too long. You can leave your skis at the owner's shop in town (Sport Fauner, not far from the Galzig) so you don't have to trail them back up every day. Rooms are of a decent size, heated floors in the bathrooms which are nice on the feet on a cold morning I'd imagine. Never stayed in it per se (worked there for a short period of time last Winter) so can't really comment much more.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
