Poster: A snowHead

Help if possible please. Just booked a couple of flights for me and the wife and have called her 'MR' !!!! All other name details precisely correct. I recall on a trip a few years ago one of our party (a miss) was down as a Mr, but was deemed no issue by easyjet staff at the time (it was post 9/11).
Has anyone done this more recently and it been ok? Appreciate info, as obviously I dont want to even try to contact easyjet direct as the phone call will probably cost more than the flights.

twoodwar, I havn't looked but I don't think your title is on your passport. So titles don't really matter, If they query it just say thats what she likes to be know as till the gender reassignment takes place

Hi, This happened to my friend last year, he was down as Mrs. No problems on the way out but did get a few odd questions in Grenoble on the way back. They asked to search his (or should that be her )bag, but then let him through no problem. I wouldn't worry!

twoodwar,
Easyjet Customer Services were really helpful to me in the past when we missed a Geneva-Liverpool flight.
We paid full fare at the airport (long story - but it was after hours and all the EJ staff had gone home, so we booked flights for the following morning) and then I wrote to Customer Services to say what had happened. They replied to say that we should have paid only a £15 (or so) per person amendment fee and so gave 8 of us a refund of over £600 in total!
I can't imagine Ryan(unf)air doing that somehow.
Also, a mate of mine had a similar problem to you and e-mailed them. They made the amendment for nothing as they said the usual amendmenmt fee applies only for name changes - not for typos.

Thanks to all, panic over. The title is indeed not on the passport, sex change for wife and a bit of ac/dc for me if anyone asks!

Just say that your family believe that differentiating between Mr and Mrs are archaic and sexist terms and that therefore you are all called Mr.

As Bergmeister says, EasyJet aren't that other lot.
I've had a couple of pleasant surprises with them in recent years like free transfers onto an earlier flight when my transatlantic flight has got in early.
