Tignes....glacier open and usually quite extensive. Even if the snow hits early only a few lifts will be open at the end of November.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Ischgl - pros Apres, charm, opening w/end of season so likely to be some decent act on. Went there a couple of years ago 1st w/end Dec and doing same again this yr - snow was suberb and hoping for same.

boardiac, just seen on ischgl.com - Katy Perry live in Ischgl 28/11/09 - nothing to get too excited about

Katy's nice, but I kissed the snow and I liked it even more.
A pro for Ischgl is that I've been to Tignes (quite early on though so didn't explore as much as I otherwise might have); however, won't Tignes be a bit quiet so early on in season? is there any Apres going on then?
re VT - it's just a cheeky weekend, and will be going to 3V (Les Menuires) in March, so will probably explore VT then. Is that valley big enough to justify 2 weeks?
