Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I've just been to the Tamworth Snow Dome, and noticed that they had a poster advertising next Saturday's (4th July 2009) Telemark Festival.

I see that in addition to the day long events, there will also be a morning taster session available. So if anyone would like to try Tele skiing, sounds like a good opportunity.

, I think if people are interested they need to be quick as I was told there are only a few places left when speaking to someone about it.....
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

, I'll still be in L2A . . . on tele'. Got to say thanks to you for introducing me to a form of skiing that begins to approach the serenity and subtlety of snowboarding. Having a fantastic time with the Fast and Easy crowd. I did something some might consider stupid by joining an alpine ski technique school whilst riding tele' bindings and so far it's worked wonders by getting my lead leg balance and surface contact feedback to a clearly defined position to where I can now choose to stay alpine or drop into tele' without losing any tactile response with the snow. Really enjoying the experience.
But that's just day one . . . It could still go tit's up in a big way

I'm giving the taster a go. Looking forward to it.
