Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Saalbach Nursery Slope

Hi All,

Just got back from a 5 day summer trip to Zell am See, Hinterglemm & Saalbach.

If anyone has been to Saalbach the Nursery slope has had a T-Bar lift for some time.

Well I was amazed they are building a chair lift, one of the shortest chairlifts I have seen. But I guess
it means the pile of bodies that used to be at the top of the T-bar, will have moved up a little further Little Angel Little Angel

Seriously though this is great news for any would be skiers out there, T-Bar, draglifts can often put people right
off skiing before they start, at least it means when learning you will at least get a rest on the chairlift ride. Little Angel

The apres bar at the bottom being one of the best in Saalbach, tried and tested by many Snowheads Little Angel snowHead snowHead
