 Poster: A snowHead

Been looking for some new goggles but with so many out there its starting to make my head hurt looking through all the goggles on the market.
Been looking at the adidas id2's but there not many reviews on them so not sure what there like for their money??
anyone out there possible to point me in the direction of a decent pair?

I reckon Smith phenoms are the business.
Depends on what conditions you use them for...and thats why I think the phenoms are a good all rounder. They are good in the flat light and offer good protection in full sun.
I reckon Smiths are a league above Oakleys, and Cebe's are a good cheaper option.
Only my opinion but hopefully that helps.

There's been quite a few topics on goggles the last week(s). I see 2 other on this page, and there's a pretty big one on page 2 or 3.
Basicly, people are going to recommend some oakley, bolle, etc. And then a horde of Smith I/O users is going to make you buy one. I know I did 
edit: right, and of course: go try out the goggle, make sure it fits with your helmet and face. (I didnt do that, smith variant always works with I/O)

Due to blizzards last year we had to buy goggles in resort and went for Salice at about 70 E. Another guy spent 300 E and couldn't see as well as we could. There again, another guy had Aldi ones and they seemed to be the best of the bunch, although not necessarily the most stylish! I guess you pay your money and take your choice.

In terms of clarity and quality oakley are fantastic. I went with crowbars as i knew they fit my face well (had used them for other sports) and knew they were compatible with my helmet. Oakley lenses are readily available in this country too!
I've also used smith's, these being good too, although i struggled to find a good range of lenses in this country.

Lenses are also important. Pick your lense colour carefully.
I prefer the rose tint, works well in all conditions

Spot on! Smith do make good goggles but it is impossible to get lenses anywhere. I went with Oakley Splice in the end as they fit very similar to the Phenom and I can easily get replacement lenses if needed.

Brads, I've just been in your position ... agonising over the right goggle.
In the end I went for Smith Phenom for the following reasons: I tried it on and it was really comfy; it's (supposedly) designed to fit with my Smith Variant Brim Helmet; and based on the many reviews I've read the 'Sensor Mirror' lense seems to be highly recommended for flat light conditions (which I really struggle with).
The goggle was ordered yesterday, and I'm off skiing on 30th Jan, so will report back!
