Is there anyone interested in a Queenstown 2010 snow report thread? If so I will start one so all those who are on the wrong side of the world can see the fun we are having down here.

^^^It was the most epic summer of fishing ever. Over 100 trout to the net, nearly cracked the magic 10lb mark on a couple of occasions, and Mrs Hang11 didn't divorce me. Gotta love mouse years.

Snowing at coronet peak and remarkables today. Looking like the start of winter.
Metservice are calling 1.2 metres of snow in South Canterbury above 700 metres this week, with more on the way next week. The bulk of it looks likely to miss Queenstown, but Mt Dobson and Mt Hutt are forecast to get some decent falls.
Hopefully Dobson will open a bit earlier, which they tend to do if they can.

Queenstown is very beautiful city of Newzealand. It is famous for its snow sports over there. It is a paradice for the snow lovers. So when you visit to Newzealand dont forget to enjoy in Queenstown.

Queenstown is a tacky tourist dump. It was in 1990 so I cannot imagine what it is now. I guess I will find out in August.
