specifically but I suppose this question could apply to any ski.

I have just picked up some used Bandits (really loved these since I rented a pair around 3 years ago) and when the bindings are set correctly the centre line of my boots is about 1cm forward of the centre line on the skis. I suppose I have two questions

1. Is this a problem, or is it such a small margin that it will make no difference.

2. If I have to re-drill the front binding mounts (and I don't even know if you are supposed to do this), should I fill the existing holes with anything in particular.

1. Probably not but the longer your boot sole length the more affect it will have. You'll get better turn initiation a bit further forward but if you're too far forward the tails can wash out. I'd certainly ski them first but I'm sure they'll be fine.
2. You'd only need to move the toe piece back providing there was enough rearward adjustment in the heelpiece. If there isn't then both heel & toe bindings would need re-mounting. You'd need to move them at least 10mm from the existing holes & the old holes need to be plugged & sealed.

Thanks for the reply, it seems that hopefully it won't be a problem. One further question if I may though, if it feels like I do have to move the front binding (although its unlikely that I'm that 'finely tuned' to notice anything) can the new holes be drilled 10mm apart centre to centre of does it have to be edge to edge? Hope that makes sense.
