Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone in Val D'Isere 5th - 12th April?

 Poster: A snowHead

I'm an intermediate going solo for a ski fix!
Is there anyone around for some drinks / Fondue?

Btw, wanted to get some lessons in for a few days to improve, any recommendations of schools or any instructors out there?

Thanks

The independent ski school in VT is ProSneige http://www.prosneige.fr/en/
They get much better feedback than ESF or Ski Cool (which is ESF owned)

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi, I'm in Val until May, happy to show you around the area and have a few scoops...

Top Ski is highly rated for instruction/off piste guiding. Been with them a few times, very good
ESF is big here (300 instructors) , Oxygen and Evo 2, Mountain Masters, Alpine Experience also have good rep... Most have websites with prices etc
TDC (The Development Centre) offer ski clinics and tuition, run by brits, meant to be very good.

Mmm we've just had 60cm up on Pissaillas last night. Cant wait to get up there tomorrow...

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

If you are an intermediate I'd suggest Alpine Experience . They are a very good, friendly, English language based group who originally were a break-away from Top Ski. I'd suggest Top Ski to expert skiers because their top group tends to attract the best skiers so they will stretch you more (you are also likely to be skiing with a mostly French group).
