Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Best annual insurance?

Can anyone reccomend a good insurance company for annual cover? I'm struggling to find one with decent equipment cover as I've got about £700 worth of kit and most only cover up to £300 or so.

CSki, have used PJ Hyman annual policy for the last couple of years.

Their premier cover, covers up to £1000 of ski equipment/single item, standard policy covers up to £500.

I have used insureandgo annual which includes winter cover for the whole family, 2 adults 2 kids for the last few years.
I use silver cover which costs £66 (but equipment £500) they have gold and platinum cover which offer £1000 equipment cover.

No problems with claims for me, last year drove to Spain as kids got chickenpox so we couldnt fly. Paid out £1200 without any trouble.
Just about to send another claim for medical expenses etc that i needed this March.

Well worth getting a quote online.

CSki, what about your household insurance, if you don't wish to underwrite the risk to kit yourself?

Cheers all, will have a look at the ones mentioned. achilles, I'm a lazy graduate living at home so I haven't a clue what Mum's household insurance covers. But if I'm on holiday and someone steals my skis then surely that's holiday not household? Puzzled

Try this one - http://www.snowfinders.com/ski-insurance.aspx - I believe it is much cheaper than snowcard and Dogtag etc but best to check out policy cover levels etc to make sure it suits your requirements. I have used it myself and claimed and they were pretty good.
