looking for a set where you can replace good vis wth a bad vis lens easily. Someone on the birthday bash had a set where the lens fitting could just be taken off and replaced. Magnet system. Any ideas on suppliers, websites?

Anon, summit and dirty dog all do this fixing system at widely differing prices. There may well be others.

@Mark1863 it doesn't help with your 'magnet' question but I have Oakley Airbrakes and the lens change system is very easy. There is a lever next to your left eye, pull it and the lens pops out. It's really very simple and I don't feel I'm losing anything to a magnet. (And in fact I quite like that it's completely secured in mechanically).
Benefit of the Oakleys would be that IMO and the opinion of many others, the optics are about as good as you can get.

I have the Summite Evolve goggles and I think they're ace. I think they're also on sale at the moment for like £40 with 2 lenses and cases. Bargain!

I used to do the same, albeit with my Oakley Crowbars. It's quite easy to change the lens, although a magnetic one would be even easier.
The upside was that I saved about £30. The downside was I kept breaking lenses from them being in my rucksack and it getting sat on, me wiping out, them getting squashed.
I now have two pairs of goggles and haven't broken a lens since.

I've got to say I've come around to this concept a lot.
Worst case scenario is basically when the foam in your goggles gets full of cold water (either melted snow or rain water) which then due to your body heat evaporates, and steams up the back of the goggle lens.
No matter what people tell you about if you look after your goggles they will not steam up you cannot prevent this natural act of physics. The only escape is to put a new set on.

I can honestly say I've never had that happen. Maybe the lip of my helmet keeps the worst off? Does this happen while they're on your face, or from taking them off and resting against your helmet etc?

@Mark1863, I think it must have been me on the Birthday Bash with the magnetic lenses. The Googles are Dirty Dog, they had them in Snow & Rock, but I found them online for less at sunglasses shop.
The goggles are great, maybe Oakleys are better, but I'm not paying +£200 for goggles.
