Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Can anyone give me the heads up on the prices of list passes in this area for a couple of hours in the afternoon? Or, is it only possible to purchase whole day passes ?

We have already pre-booked our 7 day lift passes for the duration of our Easter ski trip.

We arrive mid-morning in Altenmarkt on Mon 6th April. After getting kitted out with skis, boots etc... we will probably have a couple of hours to spare in the afternoon. If we are not too tired after the journey, I can think of nothing better to do than a bit of a warm-up on the Altenmarkt/Radstadt slopes.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Achilles no I wasn't referring to you Smile I meant it in general. Even if I would be skiing there daily, it's still better to check their web, since it has much more accurate info then I could give. Personally I almost always take daily tickets wherever I ski, so answer to such questions could be only based on my bad memory and this what I would think I saw on price list on ticket booth, when I was buying daily ticket Smile And at least for Austria, all ski places have pretty good web pages with accurate info. And with today's technology it really is just a click away Very Happy

burkeyblue, worked fine. Interesting price structure for a bit of a day. Long time since I bought anything less than a multi-day pass. I have happy memories of my week in the area - hope you enjoy yourself, too.
