rob@rar has not only survived, but also passed the BASI Mountain Safety Module. This now means he knows exactly how scared he should feel skiing off-piste, but is completely unable to accurately assess when it's safe or not to go off-piste. (Or, should I say, that's how I felt immediately after the course!).
Anyway, congratulations. It really is quite a tough course - depsite all the good press it gets.
For those of you who might need a scaler:
- waaaaay tougher than a Ski Club weekend in La Grave
- 3 Dave Murrays back to back (for Whistler fans)
- the Grands Montets top to bottom all day, every day for four days for Chamonix fans.

Courchevel. Mainly C1650, which is not exactly know for it's off-piste, but we had a good BASI Trainer and Guide who took us to some nice places (and some not so nice  )

Snap.... Lets see here i am on top a coulior: i have dug a pit, I looked at it, poked and prodded it, jumped on it.... Now lets see should i ski here or not...hmmmm..... well at least my AVI beacon is turned on...
Well done Rob... it is a very demanding physical course. I lost 7 pounds (a PB on any course) on mine and i am looking forward to hearing if you beat that record
