Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Has anyone been there?

A really good deal is closing down on me... me and 2 other members of the family are planning to go this weekend, if anyone can fill me in, if anyone knows anything about the resorts and such, would be much appreciated!

I had four days in Levi but in February. At that time it was pretty cold. The skiing is restricted, all runs from one relatively low hill, but sufficient for beginners or intermediate skiers (didn't have any trouble with ice but maybe that comes later in the season, when the snow melts and freezes again). There is one steeper run, used for FIS slaloms, and it is interesting to ski down under the gondola. I enjoyed my days there but it is certainly not the same as in an alpine resort.
