Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just got back from a 2 week trip over New Year. Massive dump of snow over 1m on the 26/12/04. They got to grips with it straight away and the pistes are in great condition at the moment. Off piste is very varied, the snow cats are storing large amounts of the white stuff on busy bits to ensure the snow cover. With the new lifts open this season the que's were non existent. Very Happy

Phoned a mate a few minutes ago and its snowing quite hard. 3cm or so at the moment.

Just got back and there was 2-3" of snow that fell last Tuesday night and then had a very heavy snow fall last Friday with about 4-6" of fresh powder. It certainly needed it as the slopes were get very hard packed in places.
looks good for next week with very cold temps and more snow on the way.
